Indian Railways (IR) has been mobilizing resources from freight traffic, passenger services, sundry sources, market borrowings, budgetary and extra budgetary support from the General Exchequer for its expansion, up gradation and modernisation. Borrowing arm of IR in the Ministry of Railways is Indian Railways Finance Corporation (IRFC). In addition, Ministry of Railways also mobilises loans from the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, bilateral and multilateral funding agencies with the approval of Finance Ministry.

तीनों कृषि कानून के रद्द होने का रास्ता अब चूंकि प्रधानमंत्री ने स्वयं निकाल दिया है.... तो एमएसपी (MSP) पर कानून भी स्वयं प्रधानमंत्री ही लायें- अब मामला यहीं अटका हुआ है और संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा आंदोलन से पीछे नहीं हट रहा है। चूंकि मामला खेती किसानी का है, इसलिए इससे संबंधित कोई भी आंदोलन एक सामाजिक- आर्थिक प्रभाव के साथ राजनीति पर कितना व्यापक असर करता है, इसकी समझ एक हठी व आत्ममुग्ध सत्तासीन व्यक्ति को भी है- इसे आंदोलनरत किसान अच्छी तरह समझ गए हैं।  लेकिन किसान को यह भी समझना होगा कि MSP से क्या हो सकता है? ईससे भी अहम है ये समझना कि MSP की व्यावहारिकता क्या है?

आज (सात नवंबर) भारत के अंतिम मुगल सम्राट और देश के प्रथम स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के नायक बहादुर शाह जफर की पुण्यतिथि है। नमन! --- कहने को तो वह 1837 में बादशाह बनाए गए, लेकिन तब तक देश के काफी बड़े इलाके पर अंग्रेजों का कब्जा हो चुका था. 1857 में क्रांति की चिंगारी भड़की तो सभी विद्रोही सैनिकों और राजा-महाराजाओं ने उन्हें हिंदुस्तान का सम्राट माना और उन्होंने भी अंग्रेजों को खदेड़ने का आह्वान किया। लेकिन 82 बरस के बूढ़े बहादुर शाह जफर की अगुवाई में लड़ी गई यह लड़ाई कुछ ही दिन चली और अंग्रेजों ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया.

Ministry of Railways has begun implementing a report on right sizing the workings of Indian Railways by reorganizing its public sector undertakings (PSUs) including Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) through mergers of some units and closure of some others to avoid overlapping and to cut costs to effect economy of scale in rail services to the nation. The ongoing action is a sequel to a report by former Principal Economic Advisor Sanjeev Sanyal in the Ministry of Finance. Ministry of Railways has the largest number of PSUs and SPVs in the Union Government.

नई दिल्ली: राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ (आरएसएस) प्रमुख मोहन भागवत ने मंगलवार वीर सावरकर से जुड़ी कई बड़ी बातें कहीं। मोहन भागवत ने कहा कि भारत में आज के समय में सावरकर के बारे में वास्तव में सही जानकारी का अभाव है। यह एक समस्या है। मोहन भागवत ने कहा कि सावरकर को बदनाम करने की मुहिम चलाई गई। इनकी बदनामी की मुहिम स्वतंत्रता के बाद खूब चली है।

वीर सावरकर पर लिखी गई पुस्तक के विमोचन कार्यक्रम में बोलते हुए संघ प्रमुख ने यह बातें कहीं। उन्होंने कहा कि वीर सावरकर को लेकर आज के भारत में जानकारी का अभाव है। सावरकर के बारे में लिखी गईं तीन पुस्तकों के जरिए काफी जानकारी हासिल की जा सकती है।

उस दिन- आठ अक्टूबर 1979-  मैं मुजफ्फरपुर में था. मेरा परिवार तब वहीं था. हम एक दिन पहले पहुंचे थे. संघर्ष वाहिनी की राष्ट्रीय परिषद में भाग लेने. कनक (लिखना पड़ रहा है, भारी मन से- जो अब नहीं हैं) और शायद अंजली जी भी साथ थीं. तब तक कनक से रिश्ता महज मित्रता का था. देश भर से साथी आ रहे थे. आ चुके थे. कुछ समारोह स्थल पर, कुछ स्थानीय मित्रों के घर रुके थे। सुबह तैयार होकर नाश्ता करते हुए आठ बजे आकाशवाणी पर वह समाचार- कि जेपी नहीं रहे- सुन कर हम स्तब्ध रह गये. परिवार के लोग भी. आपस में बिना कुछ बोले हम पटना लौटने की तैयारी करने लगे.
