Famous Lawyer Prashant Bhushan, Activist Medha Patkar and Swamy Agnivesh joined a procession in Ranchi on 25th August 2018. The Program was organized by Loktantra Bachao Manch of Jharkhand unit. Agenda: Protest against Fir lodged on 20 activists including journalists, by Jharkhand police. Police says the accused persons had catalyzed and provoked the tribal population and encouraged the Pathalgadi movement in Jharkhand. The participants of rally/procession were local activists and opposition parties’ workers including JMM.
